Came here and loved it! I didn't think I was going to eat the whole thing but before I knew it my plate was clean. I ordered the chicken curry katsu and it was great. I didn't get to take pictures but looks the same as the pictures that are posted. The sides were delicious and the sauces complemented the food perfectly. Will definitely be coming back again soon!

Parking can be a challenge depending on what time of the day. The menu does have some images to help illustrate the food. Staff is friendly, service is quick, we stopped by during lunch time. When we arrived the place was empty, when we left it was packed. The food portion is just right, does not put you into the food coma afterwards. They do have high chairs, so definitely kid friendly. This restaurant is located on the corner right across from where Daiso is located.

The food was delicious and the service was pretty attentive. Although the price is on the high side, it's still a good restaurant for those special occasions. Would recommend.

Got a table after a short wait with no reservation at 6:15 on a Saturday. We ordered two noodles (kimchi cream noodles and the spicy noodles) and the beef cutlet and spicy pork cutlet. The beef cutlet even comes with a grill to cook a little more and it was delicious! The noodles were picture worthy and really tasty!

This place is amazing. The only place I had ever had Gyukatsu was in Japan, so i did not come in with high expectations, tbh. But woah was I surprised. If you are coming in here expecting the real thing you might be a little disappointed. However don't let that discourage you from coming please! However if you are looking for that little piece of Japan you miss so much and crave then this will transport you back to the land of the rising sun (without the 12 hour plane ride!). I had the beef cutlet combo. Everthing was tasty! I was high satisfied with my meal. The interior is clean and sleek. The wait staff is great.

Wow everything is so good here. Service is great at well. You really can't go wrong but I'd recommend the beef tongue and premium beef cutlet. Pork cutlet with cheese was also bomb.

I loved visiting this restaurant. The concept was spectacular: you are served rare beef katsu and given a hot stone to grill your katsu on. I had the tenderloin beef katsu and it was fantastic, while my friend enjoyed the curry rice thoroughly. The staff was helpful and service was fast, and the environment of the restaurant was superb with nice interior decor. This is a great date spot or place to take friends. I would definitely recommend it for the unique experience. It can get a little pricey if you opt for their katsu experience, but I think the quality of the meat and the experience make up for it.

came on a Saturday for lunch and was seated quickly with no wait for a party of 3. ordered : (4/5) - premium beef gyukatsu : this is the premium version of the regular beef. Comes with a mustard kind sauce? Rice, soup, salad, pickles, and a soy based sauced. The meat is definitely more tender and really soft, but not the melt in your mouth kind. There was also a lot of breading that just kept falling off and burning our grill which made the taste unpleasant . This set comes with three seasonings to eat with which is nice but I enjoyed using the sauces more! I'd save ur $45 and get the regular one - beef gyukatsu : this one runs around ~$30. The taste in my opinion is not significantly different than the premium. It is chewier and not as tender but it is still good regardless! This set comes with everything in the premium except for the seasonings. - kelp egg: the egg is so yummy with some rice, or you can dip your meat in it and it pairs really well. It's like an extra ~$2 but it was worth it because was my favorite topping. - gyoza: nice and crunchy gyoza. Not too dry but not super juicy either. It's not something special. But a good appetizer you can share with friends ! service: (3/5) i thought it would take longer because of the meats but the service was really quick ! they were able to refire our grill which was nice. But we asked if they could change our grill and they said NO. Not sure how we were supposed to keep cooking our meats if the breading kept coming off and burnt on our grill... but ok lol vibe: would be great for a casual meal with friends or family! there was kpop playing on the tv and it was somewhat lively parking: located in a plaza with plenty of free parking! overall: the whole experience of cooking and eating with different sauces and toppings is super fun ! It doesn't hit like the gyukatsus in Japan and I probably will not come back here ever lol but it does help keep ur cravings at bay until ur next trip!!

Came here on Sunday night and surprisingly we beat the dinner crowd around 6pm. Parking- the restaurant is located on a corner and if you miss going into the right parking lot, you have to go out again and come back in. So that was a little hassle. Handicap parking available Accessibility- there is a ramp that takes you up to the door. Service- we were seated right away, 4 of us and they were quick and efficient in taking our order. Food- Beef Cutlet Set: it was very good portion and it came with an oiled grill stone that you can sear how ever you like it. Curry Pork Cutlet & Pork Cutlet: essentially the same except one has the regular sauce and the other has the curry sauce. The sauces are in a small bowl so you can dip each piece. Beef Rice Pot- very filling and full of flavor. Kelp Egg- thought it was novel and I love soft cooked egg. It was okay, I ended up pouring over my rice.

We wanted to relive our gyukatsu experience from Japan and Kobe Gyukatsu did not disappoint! It's not easy to find restaurants that offer this hot stone grilling option of the katsu at your table We took the family here and everyone enjoyed their meal too ---premium beef set: the set comes with salad, soup, rice and pickled veggies. Yummy! Just as in Japan, grilling the beef longer instead of leaving it medium rare was better! ---beef tongue set: if you like beef tongue, share this one with someone, but I preferred the katsu ---creamy beef udon: nice creamy sauce, but the beef in it was a bit tough Will be back!
